I am a man who loves to experience everything, a consumer of life if you will! I have many interests including - but not limited to - cars, food, travel, electronics, cycling and pizza. Yes, pizza is separate from food, it's an art.
From a young age I liked to have my hand in everything that I could, I enjoyed being considered a jack of all trades. Being raised as the son of a hardware store owner, I became quite adept at problem solving as I was always building, creating, and fixing.
I think it's only natural that I ended up in the world of video production. It combines many of my interests and talents into one, and it also helps that my dad was adamant on recording home movies. I can distinctly remember the first time I picked up his RCA VHS camcorder as a child, I marveled in all its analog glory. I immediately proceeded to drop it onto the ground and watched in horror as it shattered to pieces. Luckily, I was an adorable child and impossible to be mad at. As for my dad, he was pining after the new Sony Handycam and now had a valid excuse to give my mom. I suppose everything works out in the end. Jeffrey, if you're reading this I promise not to repeat my mistake and drop the RED. I'm not as cute as I once was.
Q&A with David
Tell us about your family.
I’m the youngest of everyone, and I mean everyone. Of all my siblings and cousins, I’m the youngest by 7 years. Our birth years range from 1966 (oldest) to 1997 (me, the youngest.) Needless to say we have a very spaced out family which made for an interesting, somewhat spoiled childhood.
Do you have any pets?
Sadly not yet, however my fiancé has a bunny that I’ve banned from our new house. She lives with her grandparents.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up about 30 minutes away from Akron in a town called Medina, where our biggest claim to fame is that we had the first super K-Mart in the country! We also held the title for the largest highschool in the country when it was rebuilt! That title was quickly stolen from us by a city in California, but an interesting fact nonetheless!
What is the most ridiculous thing you believed as a child?
Honestly, I wasn’t very gullible as a child. I’m a pretty logical thinker, and growing up the youngest made me incredibly skeptical of all the stories my cousins told me (I’m looking at you Casey.) There was however one deceit my entire family had me convinced of.
When I was around 10 my brother told me that my dad wasn’t my real father, and that’s why we looked nothing alike. When I confronted my father about this he sort of played into the con by brushing it under the rug. I don’t remember what he told me, only that I was still unsure of the truth.
Finally, I confronted my mother while we shopped at the local Kohls. “Mom?” I asked her. “Is dad, really not my dad?” To this day I’ll never forget what she said. “Of course not, why do you think you look nothing like him?” I was devastated. Not because the man I came to know as my dad wasn’t really my father, but because my family had never told me the truth.
So there I stood, weeping in the men's section at Kohls with my reality shattered. This lasted for about 30 seconds until my mom said “Oh Jesus, David, of course he’s your dad.” We then proceeded to Target and split a hotdog. Overall it was an okay day.
TLDR: My family convinced me I was from a sperm donor, my mom set the record straight and bought me a hotdog as consolation.
What is your favorite holiday?
Although it falls in the worst season of the year, I’d say my favorite holiday is still Christmas. While it may not be as magical as it once was, it’s still a good excuse to eat absurd amounts of food and spend time with loved ones. I’m a fan of holiday traditions!

Honestly my passions and interests change from day to day, but they mainly consist of cars, cameras, bicycles and pizza.
